50th Anniversary Prayer

God, Source of All Life and Goodness, we come before you with joy and thanksgiving for the past fifty years as the  parish community of  Holy Cross.

Throughout our history, we have celebrated your power and your love, your justice and your mercy,
your revelation and your redemption. 

As we continue our journey to you, help us to realize that redemption is not only past and future, but also in the present, by thoughtful participation in parish life.

We are a people of faith: 
        keep us true to your call.
We are a people of hope: 
        inspire us with your abiding         presence.
We are a people of love and service: 
        enable us to be your presence         to all we meet.
We are a people of celebration: 
        help us treasure the Eucharist         as your gift for the life of the         world.

May we forever glory in the Cross of Jesus, the Christ.

Award Recipients Photo Display

Holy Cross Parish was established in 1959.  On September 11, 2011, we celebrated the founding and building of our community culminating in the 50th Anniversary of the blessing of our church in 1961.

Recognition Awards

The 50th Anniversary Recognition Awards were presented throughout 2010 to parish members who made an outstanding contribution to the parish over the years. Nominations for the award were made by fellow parishioners. The award program was a way to celebrate the treasures hidden in our community.

Founding members

The 50th Anniversary Committee compiled names of founding members of the parish in order to recognize them as part of our anniversary celebrations.
